Today marks another governor who has been arrested, the other being Governor Ryan who is currently in jail. I do not understand why our Governors feel the need to disobey the law. Blagojevich took advantage of Obama becoming president and wanted to make some money off of it. I mean it is not like he gets money for being the Governor. In the report from the FBI is says Blagojevich wanted an appointment to the Obama cabinet as Secretary of Health and Human Services." how could you believe that you could get appointed without having this found out. If he was appointed and this came out imagine what it would do to Obama. Bottom line Blagojevich is narcissistic, and deserves to be in jail. Not just that, but Illinois deserves an honest Governor.

You are right, Blagojevich does deserve jail time. What is it with Illinois politicians? Part of me thinks that they have been getting away with the things that would ultimately send them to jail all of their life. It would not surprise me of this isn't the first corrupt/against the law thing Rod Blagojevich has done. For some reason, he though he would get away with this. His ration of though makes me think that he's been getting away with things similar to this. What's more, he ran a compaign on the fact that he would not act like George Ryan, which he ended up doing. Regardless, I hope he gets a nice long sentence. I hope he and OJ get to know each other.
I agree, I think that he deserves to go to jail, and be punished for what he did. I don't understand how all politicians think that they can get away with things that are against the law. They are not above the law, but most of them think that they are.
